The short version
- Present is free to use for today, always. Present Pro is optional.
- Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel in your App Store or Google Play account, at least 24 hours before renewal.
- Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their policies.
- What you create is yours and stays on your device. If Pro ends, nothing you made is deleted.
1. Agreement
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and Fast dev (“Fast dev”, “we”, “us”), the developer of Present (the “App”). By downloading, installing or using the App, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
You must be old enough to form a binding contract in your country, or have the permission of a parent or guardian, to make purchases in the App.
2. Licence
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to download and use the App on devices that you own or control, for your personal, non-commercial use, and as permitted by the usage rules of the store from which you obtained it.
The App is licensed, not sold. We reserve all rights not expressly granted to you.
3. Free features and Present Pro
All features for planning and living today are free. Present Pro is an optional paid upgrade that lets you arrange tomorrow in advance. Present Pro is offered as:
- Monthly subscription — renews every month;
- Yearly subscription — renews every year;
- Lifetime — a one-time, non-renewing purchase that unlocks Present Pro for as long as the App is made available.
Current prices are displayed in the App, in your local currency, before you confirm a purchase. Prices and the features included in Present Pro may change; any price change to an active subscription will be communicated by the store in accordance with its rules, and you will have the opportunity to cancel before it applies.
4. Subscriptions, trials and billing
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google Play account at confirmation of purchase.
- Automatic renewal: a subscription automatically renews for the same period and at the same price unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Renewal charge: your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Managing and cancelling: you can manage your subscription and turn off auto-renewal at any time in your account settings after purchase — on iPhone in Settings → your name → Subscriptions; on Android in Google Play → Profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions. Deleting the App does not cancel a subscription.
- After cancelling, Present Pro remains active until the end of the period you have already paid for. There are no partial refunds for the unused portion of a period, except where required by law or the store's policy.
- Free trials: if a free trial is offered, it will automatically convert to a paid subscription at the end of the trial unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the trial ends. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
- Restoring purchases: you can restore Present Pro on another device signed in to the same store account using Restore purchases in the App.
5. Refunds
All purchases are processed by Apple or Google, and refund requests are handled by them under their respective policies. We cannot issue refunds directly. To request one, see Support. Nothing in these Terms affects any statutory right you may have to cancel or obtain a refund under the consumer laws of your country.
6. Your content
Everything you create in the App — plans, shelf items, routines and settings (“Your Content”) — belongs to you. Your Content is stored locally on your device and is not uploaded to us, so we cannot recover it if it is lost, deleted or your device is reset. You are responsible for keeping your device backups if you want to preserve it. If your Present Pro access ends, Your Content is not deleted.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease or sublicense the App or any part of it;
- reverse engineer, decompile or attempt to extract the source code of the App, except where such restriction is prohibited by law;
- circumvent, disable or interfere with purchase verification or any security feature of the App;
- use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms.
8. Intellectual property
The App, including its design, code, graphics, text and the “Present” name and logo, is owned by Fast dev or its licensors and protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any right to use our trademarks.
If you send us feedback or suggestions, you allow us to use them without obligation to you.
9. Third-party services
The App relies on third-party services, including the Apple App Store, Google Play and RevenueCat, to process and verify purchases. Your use of those services is subject to their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party services we do not control.
10. Disclaimer
Present is a personal planning aid. It is not a substitute for your own judgement, and you remain responsible for your schedule and commitments.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the App is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that data will never be lost.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Fast dev will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, time, opportunity or profits — including a missed appointment or event — arising out of or related to your use of, or inability to use, the App.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the App is limited to the amount you paid for Present Pro in the twelve (12) months before the event giving rise to the claim.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain warranties or liabilities. In those jurisdictions, the above exclusions and limitations apply only to the extent permitted, and nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or your statutory consumer rights.
12. Termination
These Terms remain in effect until terminated. You may terminate them at any time by deleting the App from your devices. We may suspend or terminate your licence if you materially breach these Terms. Sections 6 to 11 and 15 survive termination.
13. Additional terms for the Apple App Store
If you obtained the App from the Apple App Store, the following also applies:
- Acknowledgement. These Terms are concluded between you and Fast dev only, and not with Apple Inc. (“Apple”). Fast dev, not Apple, is solely responsible for the App and its content.
- Scope of licence. The licence granted to you is limited to a non-transferable licence to use the App on any Apple-branded products that you own or control, as permitted by the Usage Rules set out in the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions, except that the App may be accessed and used by other accounts associated with you via Family Sharing or volume purchasing.
- Maintenance and support. Fast dev is solely responsible for providing maintenance and support services for the App. Apple has no obligation whatsoever to furnish any maintenance or support services with respect to the App.
- Warranty. Fast dev is solely responsible for any product warranties, whether express or implied by law, to the extent not effectively disclaimed. In the event of any failure of the App to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price for the App (if any) to you. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple will have no other warranty obligation whatsoever with respect to the App, and any other claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs or expenses attributable to any failure to conform to any warranty will be Fast dev's sole responsibility.
- Product claims. Fast dev, not Apple, is responsible for addressing any claims by you or any third party relating to the App or your possession and use of it, including (i) product liability claims; (ii) any claim that the App fails to conform to any applicable legal or regulatory requirement; and (iii) claims arising under consumer protection, privacy or similar legislation.
- Intellectual property claims. In the event of any third-party claim that the App or your possession and use of it infringes that third party's intellectual property rights, Fast dev, not Apple, will be solely responsible for the investigation, defence, settlement and discharge of any such claim.
- Legal compliance. You represent and warrant that (i) you are not located in a country that is subject to a U.S. Government embargo, or that has been designated by the U.S. Government as a “terrorist supporting” country; and (ii) you are not listed on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
- Developer contact. Questions, complaints or claims regarding the App should be directed to Fast dev at support@usepresent.app.
- Third-party terms. You must comply with applicable third-party terms of agreement when using the App.
- Third-party beneficiary. Apple and Apple's subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms, and upon your acceptance of these Terms, Apple will have the right (and will be deemed to have accepted the right) to enforce these Terms against you as a third-party beneficiary.
Where these Terms do not address a matter, Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement applies.
14. Additional terms for Google Play
If you obtained the App from Google Play, your use of Google Play and purchases made through it are also subject to the Google Play Terms of Service. In the event of a conflict regarding purchases, billing or refunds, Google Play's terms prevail. Google is not a party to these Terms and is not responsible for the App.
15. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Fast dev is established, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. If you are a consumer, you also benefit from any mandatory protections of the law of your country of residence, and you may bring proceedings in the courts of that country. Before starting any formal dispute, please contact us — most issues can be resolved quickly by email.
If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it.
16. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page and update the “Last updated” date. If a change is material, we will give reasonable notice in the App. Continuing to use the App after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
